It’s that magical time of year again. The leaves are changing, the weather is crisp, and there is pumpkin everything everywhere. All of this means the holidays are fast approaching and photographers like myself are busier than ever with holiday photo sessions.
Step One- Find an awesome and creative photographer. These are priceless memories, and yes photos can be costly, but this time of year most photographers offer some awesome deals for your photo needs.
Step Two- Location Location Location! Most photographers will have some great suggestions but it’s ok to think outside the box. The leaves are changing- pick a location with trees and take advantage of those gorgeous autumn colors.
Step three- Wardrobe. Pick clothes that flatter and coordinate with each other. Its ok to not be matching perfectly, because lets face it, the times of solid color expressionless photos have long passed.
Step Four- This is the last and most important step: HAVE FUN and be yourself! Your loved ones will love photos that show how much personality you have.
Happy Holidays, everyone, and don’t forget to share your finished cards with us!
Brianna Caskey has always had a love for photography. Growing up in Northern California and spending summers near Yosemite, she grew up admiring Ansel Adams' breathtaking landscapes. Brianna has an extensive background in the performing arts but never considered herself a visual artist until she picked up her Nikon and started learning how to capture moments and beauty in whatever she could. She started her business while her husband was deployed to Afghanistan and it quickly grew from there. She had the pleasure of photographing military families welcoming home their loved ones, and pre-deployment photoshoots. After relocating to Northern California, Brianna decided to focus on weddings, engagements, and boudoir sessions, but she loves to photograph just about anything, and strives to put a smile on every one of her client's faces.
